The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has commenced the registration process for the General Duty (GD) Constable Recruitment 2026, offering a total of 25,487 vacancies across various central forces.

The recruitment drive aims to fill posts in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), the Secretariat Security Force (SSF), and Rifleman (GD) positions in Assam Rifles.

Eligibility and Relaxation

Criteria Requirements
Educational Qualification Must have passed Class 10 from a recognized board or university.
Age Limit Candidates must be between 18 and 23 years old.
Age Relaxation Up to five years for SC/ST candidates and up to three years for OBC/Ex-servicemen.
Incentives NCC certificate holders will receive incentives of up to 5%.

Vacancy Distribution: Of the total posts, 23,467 are reserved for male candidates and 2,020 for female candidates.
